Self
I’m a technology enthusiast who got into the field because of my love for games. I competed on my college’s varsity Valorant team, where I began looking beyond the standard player experience by studying the game through VOD reviews, mechanics, maps, strategy, and player decision making. That curiosity eventually pushed me to start making my own games and experimenting with projects that let me explore the ideas I was studying. Most of the projects on this site started with some version of “what if?” I’ve designed a Valorant TDM map, made Magic The Gathering cards based on Valorant agents, and built ValoranTFT while learning data structures and algorithms. They’re ways I’ve taught myself to think about games by actually making things, combining my technical background with my interest in game systems and player experience. These projects and my overall passion for games are what have ultimately led me to want to pursue game design. After starting my career in a more technical IT role, I’ve realized that games are where I want to take my career. I want to bring the technical skills I’ve built with me, keep learning, keep experimenting, and turn my passion for games into a career in game design.
